Hello, all the grade 9 students. I will be blogging on the country Germany. Germany is an very interesting place. The country consists of 16 states while the capital and largest city is Berlin. Germany covers an area of 357,021 km2 and has a largely temperate seasonal climate. With 81.8 million inhabitants, it is the most populous member state and the largest economy in the European Union. It is one of the major political powers of the European continent and a technological leader in many fields. On the Germany flag it has three colours black, red and yellow. The area Germany is located in Central Europe. Be sure to stick around and keep checking out more of my future posts about this awesome country.

That's very interesting Alec! I did not know Germany only had 16 states. My country, Spain, has 50 provinces! I see that your country is also 357021 square kilometres, that's 1447761 square kilometres smaller than mine. Spain has 504 782 square kilometres. I did not know that it was the largest economy in the European Union. I look forward to reading and learning more about your country, Germany!
ReplyDelete16 states, 50 provinces (in Spain)... my country, Australia only has 6 states and 3 territories! But the 6 states and 3 territories in Australia must be much bigger that the 16 states in Germany because the area of Australia is over 20 times larger than Germany!! But like what I also noticed with Shae's country, Spain, Australia has a much smaller population, yet a much larger area.
ReplyDeleteWow! That sounds pretty cool Alec! Russia is a lot bigger than Germany and has a lot more people. A part of my country is also located in Europe. I hope you write a post about both World War I and World War II because that would be a cool area to compare countries! Keep it up!
