Hello fellow grade 9's, what I will be blogging about Germany is an attraction site. The attraction site that I am talking about is the ultimate fairytale castle, Neuschwanstein. Why I said fairytale castle is because it was inspirated from the Sleeping Beauty castle. The castle was buildt for king  Ludwig II of the town of Bavaria. The king was insane, when the castle was almost completed in 1886 the king was found dead a few days later. Neuschwanstein is the most photographed building in the country and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Germany. Well, that is it for me today on blogging. Make sure to keep on checking out some of my futur posts about this country.

  1. Wow! That's a cool looking castle. I would love to see it someday. When I first saw the picture, I was thinking of the disney castle thing then I read your blog and it all made sense! I never knew that castle had so much history behind it so, it's very interesting to hear about it.

  2. That's very cool Alec. I also did my blog on tourism/ attractions in Russia this week. That's a very interesting castle. It kind of sucks that the king didn't even get to enjoy it. It also looks to be in pretty good shape considering it's over 100 years old. The mountains in the backround make it look so nice, but enormous at the same time!

  3. That castle is awesome! I never knew that about the Disney castle. The difference between the tourism in Australia and Germany is that Germany is a much older country than Australia so it's tourist attractions have an older style like castles, whereas Australia's tourism is more modern. It would be very interesting to go and see that castle in person!
