Hello grade 9 geo students, what I will be talking about today is the current environment issues in Germany. The industries are burning coal that is turning the air into pollution, in Germany they have acid rain (sulfur dioxide) that is damaging the forests, crops, animals, in the Baltic Sea some industries are dumping the sewage into the water. The German government is working hard to stop using nuclear power for the next 15 years. To help reduce the pollution, and the sewage in the water. That is all of the current environment issues happening in Germany. I hope that you liked my post on Germany. Make sure to read my blog next week.

  1. Wow Alec, that is very interesting. It sounds like Sam and your Countries are having similar issues with the acid rain that is ruining some wildlife. my country, Spain, is currently having troubles with their economy and political issues as well. Just recently their king went elephant hunting and caused a major dispute throughout Spain. Luckily though the king said he was sorry and that it will never happen again. I enjoyed reading your blog this week Alec. I can't wait to learn more about your country, Germany!
